Oops; looks like I surprised a certain creature that loves raiding the bird feeders at night. Raccoons our their own species of animal, and even though they may seem like they would be in some other type of family like rotten, their not. From watching their behaviors over a long period of time; the raccoon have cat like behaviors, including hunching the back and standing on tip toes when startled.
