Pack Structure (Parc Omega)
The wolf is one of my favorite animals and I love to learn about them and their pack structure. The structure of a pack is extremely important to their overall survival. The alpha is the leader but even the alpha was once a subordinate and-or possibly even an omega. All other wolves in the pack will be submissive to the alpha and beta wolves since the beta is usually the one to take over the alpha position in the future. The subordinates are basically the middle class wolves who will fight for dominance with the other wolves to improve their status in the pack and hopefully work their way up the social structure. Then comes the omega, they are the lowest of the social structure and usually are the one who gets picked on by all other wolves. These wolves can sometimes be the trouble makers or disrespectful wolves in the pack and can work their way out of this possible through respect and dominance. Even through the omega is the lowest in the social structure, if the omega is to die the pack may stop hunting as they morn the loss of one of their family members. Each wolf plays an important role In the pack structure and structure or hierarchy is key to the survival of the wolf pack. The loss or death of one wolf it can be extremely detrimental to the entire pack. You are only as strong as your weakest pack member so you must protect all in your pack to thrive.
