A Long Climb

He might not know it, but this little ant is over 7000 feet above the base of one of nature's most iconic mountains. Behind the dense fog currently blocking his view, is the great Mount Saint Helens. He doesn't seem to care that his home is such a big deal to American history, or that the gaping hole across him is one that represents fire and ash. To him, this great mountain is simply home. There is something admiringly humble in that.
