Location
In January 2017, while walking through the Prague Zoo, this photo was taken.Time
I was lucky: I happened to be in the predator pavilion at about 15 o'clock, just during the feeding of the tigers.Lighting
The lighting in the pavilion required the correct setting of the white balance for the color temperature, a combination of different sources of natural and artificial light. Low light levels when shooting moving animals predetermined the choice of ISO 800.Equipment
My camera is a Canon 60D. In this case, I used a Tamron SP 70-300mm f4-5.6 Di VC USD lens. The polarizing filter minimizes reflections on the surface of the protective glass partition.Inspiration
Whenever I come to Prague, I try to set aside one day for visiting the famous zoo. And every time I discover new and exciting pictures of the Planet of the Animals.Editing
Of course, after shooting at ISO 800 and through a glass partition, post-processing of the original RAW image in Photoshop was required. In my camera bag
Usually in my photo bag there is a Canon EOS 60D with lens Sigma AF 17-50mm f/2.8 and telephoto zoom Canon EF 80-200mm f/2.8 L.Feedback
For me, photographing animals is associated with the work of a street photographer: it is important to observe carefully, wait for the “Decisive Moment” and quickly take a spectacular photo.
