Walking along the side of Lake Siljan, Mora on Boxing Day, my partner and I set off in a mini blizzard, as we chanced upon this gent sitting down on a bench looking out onto the lake, the weather had worsened by the time we reached him.
We continued the walk along the track into the woods taking more images of the weather.
There were several things that attracted me to the image. Firstly sitting alone on a bench by the side of the lake, might be a good idea in the middle of summer, but not in the middle of winter, especially in a snow storm.
Also wearing a bright red jacket amidst a heavy fall of snow, does make him stand out from the crowd, had there been one.
It's a photographic "once in a lifetime shot" you may never get that chance again.
