Whilst walking around the town of Älvdalen, Sweden a few weeks ago, I chanced upon this Christmas card image of a snowy lane with a Stuga sitting at the end of the track. It reminded me of all those childhood books we read in the 50s & 60s of trolls living in a house like this, with smoke curling out of the chimney, surrounded by trees.
