First of all, sorry for my poor english, i'm french. This photo was taken in italy, in a little town near Milano. My eyes get caught by the big face in the wall and its reflection in the water. The question mark give it a human behaviour. Of course, i saw different people walking on the quay but when i saw this "three girls" i was sure it was the best moment to shoot. The way they walk, the distance between the face and between them give this pic (for me) a good well-balanced composition.Time
It was during the afternoon in a sunny day but all the scene was in the shadow.Lighting
As I wrote, it was in the afternoon. The scene was in the shadow so the global tone was soft. It gives a timeless spirit.Equipment
this was shot with my canon 70d and my 17-70 2.8-4 lens from sigma.Inspiration
I really love taking street photography. I don't really want to show specific scenes but just people in their own everyday life. For me people are real life.Editing
Well, just a lightroom plug-in wich give importance to the greys and showing enough of the colors of the bags.In my camera bag
I always wear my dear 70d, a new 24-105 f4 canon, a little 50mm f1.8 and my best one, the 11-16 f2.8 from tokina (grrrrr....)Feedback
If I had one advice: just be at the right place at the right moment!!! Most seriously, just have a look around you, don't get caught by the eye cup of your camera, Life is not only delimited by the edges of a picture !!! And after all, enjoy camera!!!
