Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my backyard one cold morning in December.

Time

This photo was taken in the morning.

Lighting

The sun was just starting to shine on my yard. The icy layer was glistening, and I found this frozen, solitary Autumn leaf.

Equipment

Canon Rebel t5 85mm

Inspiration

I was inspired to take this photo when I discovered this lone leaf. There was something magical about the simplicity of the glistening snow and one lonely Autumn leaf.

Editing

I shoot in RAW, so I sharpened up the image and saved both color and black an white versions. Not sure which I like better.

In my camera bag

I always have my nifty fifty with me and have really come to love the 85mm.

Feedback

Always have your eyes peeled looking for the little details that are so easy to overlook.
