The Old Man of Storr

Managed to get away over the xmas period and travelled to skye, Scotland from Norwich,Norfolk in the Tardis AKA the camper van.
The old man of storr has always been on my hit list after seeing some lovely images of this other worldly place, so after looking intently at the weather forecast we headed up the long and very slippery path up to the view point you can see in the image, this walk and climb took us 2 hours on very hazardous terrain but when I got to this point I was blown away with the scenery before me.

This shot consists of 8x 50,6 megapixels portrait shots with the intention of stitching them later in Lightroom with the finished results in front of you.
It was taken on the morning of New years eve eve Smile 30th jan and we started the climb at 8am.
The walk back down was much trickier with ice everywhere you put a foot down, I have say I went over 3 times going down and none going up.

A good end to 2017 I hope 2018 gives just as much, happy new year to you all.
