I took this photo during my honeymoon. I was fortunate to be able to take this shot as the weather up to this point was overcast with little excitement. I knew fiji was beautiful but I was truly blown away during this sunset at our resort. It was a difficult scene to shoot but exposure bracketing really helped improve the dynamic range in the scene.

Location
I took the photo whilst I was having my honey on the famous Coral Coast in Fiji. We stayed at the iconic and picturesque Warwick resort.Time
Taken during sunsetLighting
I tend to shoot continuously throughout golden hour and into blue to capture the spectrum and ever changing light of sunset. It means you have to be patient and willing to stand at the same spot for a long time but the final image is worth the effort.Equipment
I use the Sony A7rIII and Zeis 16-35 f4 and my sturdy Sirui tripod.Inspiration
Always scout my locations and I let the landscape speak to me (sounds corny) but when I see something I like I previsualize the scene and have a concept in mind for when the light is right.Editing
I process of my photos through lightroom and then import into photoshop where the majority of the colour grading takes place. Using a combination of adobe camera raw as well as Nik collection. In my camera bag
I tend to pack according to the demands of the landscape if a hike is needed I go light and omit primes and filters. Otherwise I bring along a collection of lenses and my filters just in caseFeedback
Be patient, scout and set up your shots so that you don't miss out on the changing light.
