Location
This picture was taken at my work place, Denn's Park, located at North Richmond NSW on a 45 acre horse stud. I was just outside the bottom stables. My work mate and I had a bit of time to spare during our morning routine and we both love photography and couldn't pass up this beautiful shot.Time
This was taken around 6:30am when the sun had started its day out and the clouds were starting to clear. This is one of my favourite shots. I always carry my camera in my car, just in case I come across one of those moments. I used the work ute to steady my hands as I had no tripod with me. The reflection from the dam added to the beauty of the picture.Lighting
The lighting in the shot is all natural. I was able to capture such a beautiful natural picture due to being up at the right time.Equipment
The shot was taken with my standard Nikon camera, I honestly can't remember which model anymore as it was so long ago.Inspiration
I am always on the lookout for my next best shot. I love taking pictures of sunsets or sunrise. Nature in general for me is the perfect subject for a variety of great captures. I like to think I have a creative eye and this just happened to be one of those occasions where I was right. I am blessed with living in a rural town so everyday gives me opportunities to share my passion.Editing
I honestly didn't have to do any post-processing, it was all natural lighting and the camera really picked up on the beauty of the morning. In my camera bag
These days I don't leave home without my Canon, my 18 - 55mm lens and my 70-300mm lens. They are my companions and any shot I take is made easy with these by my side. I am by no means a professional photographer but the love for the art is deeply rooted within me.Feedback
Patience is the key to any great photo, especially with landscape photography. Get out there, have fun, drive for miles if you wish. Go to your favourite place and have a look around. The weather is always changing, go early in the morning or at sunset just basically do what most of us do and find sometime to yourself and remember, be patient. The perfect shot will come.
