There was an old flume line that followed the creek here. It was used during the Black Hills Gold Rush in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Most of the line is completely gone now, washed away or crumbling from the elements. But, if you look closely you can still see some of the bridge that crossed the creek. It's a difficult hike and very over grown though so beautiful and worth the effort to find it.
