A frigid January morning (0 degrees F.) along the Upper Niagara River. This view is from the end of the loop at Beaver Island State Park on Grand Island, looking south towards Buffalo.There were many patches of open water with a variety of waterfowl diving for food. Not my favorite temps but there is something pure and fresh about days like this.
