Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in my backyard in Cookeville, Tennessee. I have two crabapple trees. The trees are beautiful in the spring. They are also the favorite spot of the birds during winter. The eat the little crabapples.

Time

I took this photo at 6:03 pm. Spring is such a wonderful time with the warm temperatures . Everything is new!

Lighting

It was cloudy. I set my ISO to 400.

Equipment

I used my Canon EOS 6D with the 24-105 mm f4 L IS USM lens. I hand held the camera. No flash was used.

Inspiration

I can't wait to shoot the flowers when spring comes. I shoot in all seasons. Each one offers different opportunities. We live in such a beautiful world.

Editing

I cropped the image to bring the subject closer and to fit an 8x10 frame. I used Lightroomto adjust the highlights, shadows, and clarity.

In my camera bag

I keep 3 lenses in my bag. I also include a filter or two, extra cards, extra, batteries, and rain protection.

Feedback

This image was done in 2016. I have tried to improve every year. Reading articles and taking courses has helped me. Photography is addictive! Practice, Practice!
