Someone gave me this iris. It is one of the most beautiful in my garden.

Location

I took this photo in my backyard in Cookeville, Tennessee, I have many flowers and plants, I have two passions, photography and gardening.

Time

I took the image at 9:47am on Sept 28th 2016. The sun was high with lots of light. Maybe too much light but was cloudy so worked.

Lighting

Sunny with a few clouds.

Equipment

I had my camera a Rebel T3i with Canon EF-S 18-55mm lens in manual focus. I had the aperture set at 5.6 and the speed was 1/2000.

Inspiration

I love my flowers. I had not been addicted to photography yet but was getting there. I took pictures everyday during the flowering season.

Editing

No post processing.

In my camera bag

I use my canon 6D, canon Rebel T3i, Canon 300mm lens, Canon 55-85mm lens, Canon 24-105 L lens, Canon 50mm lens, polarizer, extra batteries and cards, cleaning cloth.

Feedback

Photography is addicting. It It an amazing feeling to capture this beautiful earth and take it with you forever. God created an amazing place for us to enjoy. Try to frame your image so you don't have to crop. Enjoy it all!
