I was having breakfast with my mother, aunts, and son spanning four generations and wanted to capture the essence of my beautiful grandmother. I don't normally do portrait images but I couldn't resist her weathered stoic grace and beauty. Her sad eyes and perpetual smile let you know she has been through it all and chooses to keep smiling.
