Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on the shoreline of lake McDonald in Glacier Park.

Time

I snapped this photo about 3:30pm with total darkness being about 5:30pm this time of year in NW MT.

Lighting

It was a clear day with the temperature at 10 degrees. Only natural lighting with a UV filter.

Equipment

I was using my old Canon 30 D with a canon 100 macro lense.

Inspiration

With such a sunny cold day and no people and watching our 14 year old dog Tucker, seeing how alert he is and seeing home enjoy the day as well.

Editing

No, just a UV filter and hand held capture.

In my camera bag

I normally cary a 75-300 zoom, 50 mm and a 100mm macro.I carry a tripod about half the time.

Feedback

I shoot 99% of my photo in the outdoors. I hike many miles a year in the backcountry and my eye catches many images that I have to photograph. I shoot many photos of th er same subject, mt, sky, and ect. If it catches your eye just start shooting.
