I heard a rumor of a giant Ficus Tree one could climb up inside and went out exploring for it, without knowing where to start. I passed a few aggressive dogs, loose on the dirt road leading out of town, but this one was friendly and insisted I follow her off the road and into the jungle, which I did, directly to a giant Ficus Tree one could climb up inside. I don't know if it is the legendary one or not, but the group of young french people drinking pear liquor at the base claimed it must be. This dog had led them there too.
