This little church in Burnham Deepdale on the North Norfolk Coast is well known for its three outstanding features: It has a Saxon Round Tower (pre-Conquest of 1066 - in the picture), a Norman Font, and a collection of Medieval Glass. Round towers are quite rare in the UK. This example dates approximately from 950 years ago and is a simple construction, making intricate corners unnecessary. Many of the remaining round towers are in Norfolk. The tower houses a 15th century bell cast by Thomas Derby of Kings Lynn.
