This picture was taken in the afternoon around 2 pm , while exploring the town and i came across this magnificent Fort.Lighting
I did not need any extra lighting as the day light was more than enough to add the beautiful effect to this picture.Equipment

The history of Zanzibar itself is very inspiring, And this building known as "Ngome Kongwe" the Old Fort is very popular and major tourist attraction. This old Arab Fort is an old building which speaks its own story of the Zanzibar and slave market history.Editing
The image did not require any extra post processing, just a bit of color correction for the sky and grasses below. This was due to the white balance that was killing the colors of the sky, clouds and grasses.In my camera bag

Zanzibar has a lot of oldest buildings to capture and each one tells it's own story. But landscape photography is all about capturing the beauty of nature together with the buildings. Dawn and dusk are the best moments to capture. Though anytime of the day is perfect for these kind of images. So little bit of planning and patience is the key to the best shot.
