Behind The Lens

Location

I did take this photo on the side of the street. A car collector unloaded his cars to clean and check and gave me the OK to take pictures.

Time

I took this shoot at 1:50pm on my way to lunch when I saw the cars parked on the side of the road. Luckily I had my camera with me. I got on my knees for this one to get the perfect angle.

Lighting

I took one shoot on a partial cloudy sky and enhanced it with a HDR program.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D90 with a Nikon 85mm lens at f 1.8, 1/2500sec ISO 200

Inspiration

I love the old cars with there great details and was playing around with my HDR program to get the look I liked.

Editing

I did and used a HDR program. Any time I do HDR I mostly play around until I find the look I like and just let it stand the way it is.

In my camera bag

Now I have a Nikon D7100/ an older Nikon 80-200mm f2.8, a 85mm f1.8, wide angle zoom, a Tokina SD 12-24 F4 and Sigma 150-500mm, Pol Filters, tripod and more .

Feedback

All I have: get out there, get on you knees or step on a wall to get an other angle then straight upright. Try to find the most interesting detail, go close and don't be afraid of messing up.
