Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo while wandering in Prague with my friend. It was my first photo walk. When I noticed this wall I knew I had to take a picture there.

Time

It was early winter afternoon. It was cold but but snow wouldn't fall.

Lighting

It was pretty moody afternoon with no direct lighting.

Equipment

This was shot on a Olympus E-400, with an 14-54mm f2.8-3.5. No other equipment was used.

Inspiration

I love the contrast between beauty and a crude wall in the background.

Editing

I mostly use Adobe Camera Raw to do the job. I love to add a bit of grain to the shoot so I developed my own presets.

In my camera bag

I have only one lenses and camera. Occasionally I take Polaroid 600 with me too.

Feedback

I always struggled with trying something unusual. I wasn't sure this composition would work, but it turned out pretty good in the end.
