This was taken in my front yard, the Japanese Maple was ready for autumnTime
This was taken early morning just after a dawn rain shower that wet the trees just enough to make the shimmerLighting
This was all about using the natural low morning lighting to illuminate the water droplets and provide the bokeh effect.Equipment
My camera is a Canon T6i, I used the 55-250 efs kit lens, focal length 135, aperature f 5.6, shutter 1/250, iso 2500Inspiration
After a rain is usually a good time to shoot but wind can often ruin the day. In this case the lack of wind left everything in a state of calm suspension allowing for a better photoEditing
The only post processing was cropping, which is normal for my photos. In my camera bag
I just have a couple of small kit lenses and a larger 70-300 zoom for my nature shots. What more do I needFeedback
For a photo like this, it's really a matter of patience and being able to go at the right time. Nature photography doesn't wait for you to get ready
