Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken at Deerfield Beach. Such a beautiful location, only made better by the company.

Time

One of the benefits of waking up early to greet the sunrise is that your meet other individuals who appreciate those golden hours and the beauty they can provide. This is a perfect example of so many great things coming together at sunrise.

Lighting

Because of the glow of the natural light of the sunrise, I decided not to use external lightning.

Equipment

Camera: Canon Rebel T7i Lens: Canon telephoto zoom 85-300mm That was it; keep it simple.

Inspiration

The lighting and the scenery were all that I needed to be inspired to shoot on this day

Editing

I just bumped up the contrast and saturation a little. As with most things, I like to keep it as close to natural as possible.

In my camera bag

That camera and my Tamron 90mm macro, Canon 25mm for portraits and street photography and my Canon 10-15 for those larger than life, breathtaking shots.

Feedback

Waking up early for gorgeous sunrise shots is always worth it. Also, don't be afraid to talk to people. Step out of your comfort zone and watch the magic happen.
