This bombed out structure, a Grand Hotel Palace, was the residence of the King of Jordan & is located in North East Israel. It stands as a memorial of man's inability to get along with man. This part of the world is no different as it's core is in the heart's of men. The black and white shot is highlighted by two elements. The open door with entering light is on the right axis of the rule of thirds. The peace sign is colored to draw the eye to the background of the shot... Peace....................in the distance. One of my personal favorites of my years of travel in the Middle East.
