Love the blur, it really draws attention to the super cute animal eyes! Awesome photo.

Really nice capture! Different from most seal photos - well done!

Location
The photo of this grey seal pup was taken last November amongst some really difficult weather conditions on the North Eastern coast of Great Britain.Time
This was taken in the early hours of a cold wet November morning. Conditions were not in my favour as the weather was cold, wet and windy.Lighting
This particular image was one of about 30 that i took whilst I observed this pup for around an hour or so. The light was not the easiest to work in, with the skies being grey and full of rain.Equipment
The equipment used was Canon 5d mark iii. Lens was the 70-200 f2.8 mark ii.Inspiration
I had been observing the pups for a few days, watching their habits. This particular one seemed to be happy for me to be hanging around, albeit from a safe distance. The pup had been preening itself for about 30 minutes and then turned on his back. I just love the way it was cleaning in-between its claws.Editing
Very little processing was done to this image. A crop and a bit of contrast and exposure. In my camera bag
My kit is usually a Canon 5d Mark iii, canon 24-70 f2.8, canon 70-200 f2.8 mark iii, sigma 135mm f1.8 and a canon 100mm macro lens.Feedback
Patience and observation is a must when taking images of wildlife.
