During today's sunrise, only a small sliver of the sky was free of clouds. When the sun popped into the frame, the swirls of sinuous reds and oranges reminded me of Jupiter. This is from my home town of Folsom, CA and believe it or not, those brittle dry grasses in the foreground flourish as new green growth in springtime...assuming we get some Pacific storms to end our drought here in California.
