Went owling during a break on a rainy day. Saw a bunch of photographers lined up where a barn owl was flying. Didn't want to be a part of that so continued on. Came to where a bunch of photographers were photoing a short eared flying in a field. Didn't want to be a part of that crowd either. Continued walking until I found a spot to myself. Set up my gear and turned toward the field. While I was setting up this shortie had landed on a nearby post and was watching me set up. Here's a picture of him watching me, watching him. Enjoy!
