Location
I took this photo in Budapest, in our garden. I really love that place, because we have plenty of plants, trees, bushes and flowers, and my favourite photography subject is the nature. So for me it's like a treasure chest.Time
This photo was taken on 31th of October in 2017 at 10:06. It was a few years ago, but I remember, it was a pretty sunny day, which is why the contrast turned out so good.Lighting
I think what makes this picture unique, is the lighting and the contrast. The yellow flower was very bright because of the direct sunshine, but the grass behind it was much darker (and it was in the shadow) so it turned out to be almost completely black.Equipment
I used a NikonD5200 camera with an AF-S NIKKOR 70-300 mm 1:4.5 - 5.6 G Zoom lens. I haven't used any flash or tripod.Inspiration
I think, what inspires me take pictures like this is being outside, in the nature. I would like to capture the colours, the shapes, the sounds, everything, because it's just so calm, and beautiful. I especially love to take pictures of flowers. I like to play with different angles, and show people the nature in a way they don't see it every day.Editing
I did some finishing touches with an application, called PhotoScapeX. I added more contrast to the pic, so the yellow colour pops up even more and it made the background even darker. In my camera bag
If you look into my camera bag, you will find my Nikon D5300 camera, a spare battery (because you never know how long the photography session will take!), and my telescope lens. Sometimes a little tripod too, and maybe a tiny raincoat for my Nikon, if it is a rainy day.Feedback
If you would like to play with the lights and the contrast, I would highly recommend, to go out on a sunny day, find some flowers and play with the shadows, backgrounds. Find something, that is out in the sun, but has a dark background. I would recommend to really zoom in it, so the background becomes blurry, which will bring out your object/flower that stands in the front even more.
