A juvenile eagle perched in a small dead tree far enough away to make getting a decent photo challenging. Occasionally, it would take flight and stir up thousands of white Canadian snow geese (pictured here). The eagle was most likely trying to find a weaker goose for dinner. Photo taken at Bosque de Apache National Wildlife Preserve near Socorro, NM.
