One of Thames historical landmarks from the gold mining and pioneer settlement days. Large ships used to ferry goods and passengers in and out at this wharf.Good spot for photos and provided a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. I think this is one of my favourite times of day. Just as the sun goes down, you get this amazing contrast between the yellow after glow of the sun and the encroaching blue of twilight.
