Location
We were on a family vacation to Niagara Falls in 2010 and went on the Maid of the Mist ferry which takes you right to the edge of the falls. I had a waterproof camera and was able to catch this image from the back of the boat looking at the American Falls and the mist created such a beautiful full rainbow with the sun.Time
It was just before dinner, around 5pm. We had spent the whole day hiking and walking along the falls path. We had saw the maid of the mist earlier and decided we were going to do it. It was the first time being on a boat for my youngest son!Lighting
I really didn't have to do much post editing as the sky was such a perfect clear blue, the sun was bright was not high noon so it was in the perfect area. Right place at the right time for sure played a part here.Equipment

I was taking a few that I wanted to remember this moment in our family trip and this one turned out great!Editing
I don't know much about post processing...I tweaked the colour a tad to bring it out a bit more but that was it. The original has the full rainbow but the colours are not as vibrant.In my camera bag
Unfortunately my underwater camera died in Costa Rica and I haven't been able to replace yet (but will be because I just bought a paddleboard!) I carry an Olympus digital camera, it's okay but I miss my Fuji!Feedback
Weather is definitely a factor, you must have all the elements in place for such a rainbow to be seen. Always be Ready...you never know when your next great shot is going to happen!
