Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Rhode Island, last winter. I love trying to capture the sunrise and the ocean as much as possible

Time

This was take really early in the morning, I drove up to the beach to check the surf, but since it was flat I drove around awhile looking for the best spot to watch the sunrise.

Lighting

The light was just right so didn’t need to do anything but shoot it

Equipment

This was taken on my cannon rebel, with my 18-55mm lens

Inspiration

I love just watching the ocean and how the light reflects off it, always find it so calming. So when ever I can I try and shoot it.

Editing

In this photo I had to tweek the colors just ever so slightly to really make the sun pop.

In my camera bag

I usually always have my cannon, with a 18-55mm lens, and a 77-300mm lens. I also have a GoPro in my bag.

Feedback

If your going to shoot during the winter always pack a back up battery cause the cold just sucks the life out of the camera, and layer cause the weather is usually wicked cold this time of year.
