I know this man when I was with my friends on vacation to Gili Labak located in Sumenep, Madura, Indonesia. He was the fisherman who drove us across there.

He is Pak Anan, a fisherman in Sumenep, Madura, Indonesia. For decades he went to sea for a living for his family. A few years ago, Gili Labak has been opened and nowadays it is known by many people. This is another way for Mr. Anan to earn a living, not just fishing but now he also takes tourists across the sea to Gili Labak. Tourists must pay 100.000 rupiah to cross to Gili Labak. Since the opening of this tourist spot, Pak Anan's income has grown, especially when foreign tourists who come to visit usually give them more payment for Pak Anan. He also told me that there are foreign tourists who want to learn to speak Indonesian, for example, tourists ask Mr. Anan "what's this name in Indonesian?" then Pak Anan replied "this is a boat", Pak Anan was rewarded with 100,000 rupiah, 20,000 rupiah, 50,000, or whatever money was in the tourist wallet. "the tourist is very kind" he said to me.

that's a little story I still remember from him. *Sorry for my bad english* :)
