Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my home studio outside of Chicago Illinois.

Time

This photo was taken during the day, because it was shot indoors , I used my light box and smaller lights which enabled me to control the light to get the different colors to shine through. I was also looking for a different perspective on Christmas lights.

Lighting

Indoor photography can be so much fun because you get to control the lighting, I used two small lights on both sides of the light box to bring out the colors and prisms.

Equipment

Canon EOS1300D

Inspiration

I was just wanting to bring out the colors of the lights and give a different perspective on a traditional object.

Editing

no

In my camera bag

Canon 5D Mark III, Sigma 70-300mm lens, tripod, batteries and extra camera cards.

Feedback

Experiment with different perspectives, it can really change a picture.
