Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Smith Rock State Park in Terrebonne, Oregon. This place is very popular for hiking and rock climbing as well!

Time

This photo was taken around 2pm when the sun was bright and shining!

Lighting

I wanted this image to be bright and cheery, and really showcase how blue to Central Oregon skies really are! We are fortunate enough to have some of the bluest skies I have ever seen!

Equipment

Canon rebel with 55mm lens.

Inspiration

Growing up in Central Oregon, rocks, canyons, and blue skies are a part of every day life! This picture was inspired by my love for this area and how naturally beautiful our state is.

Editing

This photo actually did not require tons of processing or editing! I played around with lighting and co ready a bit, however this photo is pretty true to the natural beauty of this area!

In my camera bag

I always carry my 55mm and 75mm lenses. I feel these are the easiest to capture great, easy photos with.

Feedback

I always just keep my eye out for the things that make me feel inspired! If I look over and see something beautiful, I try to frame my photo exactly how I am seeing it with my own eyes. I want my photography to share with people the way I see the beauty of nature.
