This photo was taken in the great city of Russia - Saint Petersbourg. The city has many areas behind buildings with shabby benches and stairs so the model and I took the chance of making this shot.Time
This photo was taken during the afternoon, I made pictures at different locations of the city and by the time we found this spot - it was an early afternoon.Lighting
I wanted to grab the natural day light and surroundings so I did not use any flash.Equipment

As we were looking for various spots in Saint Petersbourg, the spot here just made us think the the model should be sitting with an object that would make the shot more relaxing.Editing

Some times it is not easy to catch the right move when photographing people and I believe it is important to make a good relaxing atmosphere between the photographer and a person. It takes time to set this atmosphere but the outcome is rewarding. It also helps to let people behave how they want to make them more relaxed.
