Location

I had walked into this alleyway in Central London and suddenly came upon this alleyway that was lit up in red. It was literally begging for a shot and I couldn’t resist.

Time

This was taken in the evening. It was surprisingly quiet despite being a street in central London

Lighting

I loved how the colour red was cast on everything in the alleyway. It gave the shot a mysterious look that there was more going on.

Equipment

This was shot on my mobile phone. iPhone 7.

Inspiration

I was looking for a short cut when I stumbled on the alleyway. The bold colour captivated me.

Editing

No processing was used. The photo was published at shot.

In my camera bag

I usually have my Nikon D850 with a Nikon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G. I find it very versatile.

Feedback

Always go with your instinct when shooting. It doesn’t have to feel right when you want to shoot it. Just capture the moment .
