Caught in mid flight is a Cairns Birdwing (green) and a male Orchard Swallowtail. I was in the middle of shooting river scenery when these glorious butterflies gyrated past my eyes. It appeared that they were playing or dancing as they kept touching each other and didn't alight once. Their movement was incredibly rapid so all in all I was relatively happy with this shot.
