I was shooting waders from a blind by the Salinas de San Pedro, and when I stepped backwards out of the blind and looked to my right I saw this little beauty a couple of metres away. On the basis of location I recorded it as Thekla's lark, but I have learnt more since and now wouldn't want to definitely claim to know whether it's Thekla's or crested.
