The Chateau Frontenac and its glorious 19th-century architecture, is here seen under the falling snow, during the month of January. It is located in the heart of the ancient part of Quebec City, overlooking the Saint-Lawrence River. It was quite eerie to be there during this hostile moment of the year, the temperature that day was -31 degrees Fahrenheit. The sky was absolutely covered by dark clouds, and the wind was blowing strong. The light was so dim, it felt like I was in the middle of the night, when in reality it was the middle of the afternoon. All those elements made taking this photo even more interesting and challenging, especially with all those tiny natural reflectors of snow flying all over the place. It made me feel like I was inside a snow-globe.
