The 101 for pictures like this: use a sturdy tripod, switch to manual mode, shoot in raw, post process it on your pc ;-)

Excellent photo. I'm no astronomer, so for me this photo brings an interesting question. When I photograph the moon its bellybutton is on the lower right hand corner. I never thought about it before, but maybe a different view due to my latitude on the earth, time of year or ..? I love the detail. Can't get any better.

I'm no astronomer either, but I checked some photos from end of march 2015. There the moon is rotated about 95 degrees counter clockwise, and today it is rotated approximately 110 degrees counter clockwise. So the moon is definitely rotating.
