Location
I used a Canon Rebel t3i for this image. Getting in as close as I could, I focused in on the flower so it pops out of the blurred background.Time
I don't quite remember, but I'm guessing it was late afternoon or early evening.Lighting
This was an overcast day which is great because I didn't have to worry about harsh sunlight. The light was naturally filtered allowing for the perfect shot with very minimal editing.Equipment
Just my old Canon Rebel t3i and the lens it came with! No flash. Manual settings.Inspiration
I just love taking photos of the nature around me. This was a lone flower coming up near the well at my old house. I don't know how it got there or why there weren't any others. Just a single red tulip in the mist.Editing
I don't recall doing much of any editing to this image. I may have enhanced the saturation very slightly. In my camera bag
Not much since I'm usually taking shots around my property. I always have a lens cloth though!Feedback
You don't need an expensive camera to take good photos. It's all about learning the settings on your camera and being good at composition and focus!
