Behind The Lens

Location

Our friends had invited us up to Pennsylvania for the weekend. I was hoping to get some good fall shots. Whiling riding to the house near Belle Vernon I saw this scene coming up, throw up my camera and snapped this single shot.

Time

It was late afternoon. I was just enjoying the beauty of the mountains.

Lighting

The sun was setting behind us.

Equipment

Camera was a Sony Cybershot with a 200mm zoom lens.

Inspiration

I was looking for different scenes of fall foliage and just by chance, again while riding in the passenger side of a car shot this in a single shot through the front windsheild.

Editing

I did minor adjustments to the tone, color and contrast. That is all.

In my camera bag

Nothing fancy. Most everything I use is much like my Sony with fixed lenses. My favorite though is my Sealife dive camera.

Feedback

Always be prepared to shot quickly. You never know what is just up the hill or around the corner.
