I love the wrought iron Spanish detail. New Orleans French Quarter has both French and Spanish architectural design as both countries flew flags over this territory long before it was part of the United States. Spanish has a more intricate design as this so aptly displays. Many of the lanterns in the Quarter are gas light making a nice soft glow.
