Behind The Lens

Location

Palestine, TX

Time

Mid afternoon

Lighting

I originally wanted to edit this in color, but the sky was blown out and there was too much background noise (other cows).

Equipment

Canon Rebel t6i. 70-300mm Canon lens.

Inspiration

There's just something about a cow. Anytime I have my camera in the truck with me and I pass a pasture with cattle, I have to stop and take a picture.

Editing

I converted this image to Black and White and Burned out the background using brushes in Lightroom.

In my camera bag

My trusty Canon Rebel t6i. My Macro 100mm and my 70-300mm lenses.

Feedback

When doing a black background, patience is key! And a good B&W preset never hurt.
