Location
This was taken during the summer rodeo in Carbondale, Colorado. Luckily, the event organizers moved bull riding to the beginning of the rodeo instead of at the end, so there was plenty of light to get this shot!Time
Around 7:30 to 8 p.m., right before the sun went down.Lighting
Not really.Equipment
Equipment: Nikon 5100 with a Nikkor 70-300 mm, 4-5.6 lens at 400 ISO. Can't remember the shutter speed ... likely around 1250.Inspiration
Right place at the right time. That's the way most good sports shots are!Editing
None at all except for color balance. I live by the saying that your best shot is always the original if you know what you're doing! In my camera bag
I carry a Nikon 5300 and 5100 with a 50 mm, a 10-24 Tameron, a Tameron 70-200 at 2.8, and my 300 telephoto.Feedback
Never be satisfied. Always look to get better.
