Located just outside the seaside town of Dunoon on the Cowal Peninsula may be found the mystical Puck's Glen.
The glen is named after Puck, a mischievous spirit whom haunts many legends and appears in Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'.

'Up the airy mountain,

The Fairies - William Allingham - circa. 1850.
