Location

The photo was taken just outside Peterborough Ontario at the shore of a friends summer cottage. Lovesick Bay is part of the Trent-Severn Waterway Canal system.

I used and OMD-EM5-MII, 12-40mm f2.8 and a tripod.

Inspiration

I have spent many weekends at this cottage as a teenager and as a young adult. I have seen this sunset many times. I needed an image to share this Canadian sunset with others.

Editing

This was an HDR pretty much right out of camera.

In my camera bag

Olympus Body, 25mm f1.8, 45mm f1.8, 12-40mm f2.8, 40-150mm f2.8 and the 1.4x tele-converter. This kit covers all my usual shooting scenarios.
