The Sumatran tiger is the smallest tiger in the world. Distinguished by heavy black stripes, orange coats, slightly larger manes, they are very good swimmers. Sadly the Sumatran Tiger is vulnerable to extinction
and was classified as critically endangered by IUCN in 2008.
